QUOKKA
The Quokka from Australia is a small, nocturnal marsupial. Once found on mainland Australia but now only on Rottnest and Bald Islands off the West Australian coast. Endangered on the mainland due to predators such as dingoes and foxes and habitat loss.
With no predators on the islands the quokka is an inquisitive animal with no fear of people. Also known as the worlds happiest animal because of its smile!.
